Diskurs, Interdiskurs, Kollektivsymbolik

Am Beispiel der aktuellen Krise der Normalität

Zusammenfassung

Der Beitrag entwickelt zunächst, anknüpfend an Foucaults Diskurs-Begriff in der Archäologie des Wissens, den Begriff des Interdiskurses und verwandte Begriffe (Interdiskursivität, Inter-Spezialdiskurs, diskursive Position, Kollektivsymbolik). Er situiert diesen Komplex anschließend in einem wissenssoziologischen Rahmen, wobei die Kopplung zwischen einer "horizontalen" Dimension der Wissensteilung (Wissens-Spezialisierung und -Reintegration) und einer "vertikalen" Dimension der Machtteilung analysiert wird. Hier lässt sich auch Foucaults "genealogischer" Begriff des Dispositivs anschließen. Insgesamt erweist sich der Interdiskurs als operative Fassung der Kultur-Begriffs: Durch Interdiskurse wird das Wissen individuell und kollektiv subjektiviert und mittels gegensätzlicher diskursiver Positionen mit der Macht gekoppelt. Als konkretes Beispiel wird abschließend das interdiskursive Netz des Normalismus betrachtet, und zwar in seiner aktuellen Funktion zur Krisenanalyse und Krisenbewältigung, wobei sich zwei diskursive Positionen (Protonormalismus und flexibler Normalismus) konfrontieren.

Taking up Foucault´s concept of discourse from the Archeology of Knowledge, this paper proposes, in a first step, the concept of interdiscourse, together with affiliated concepts like interdiscursivity, inter-special-discourse, discursive stance, and collective symbolism. It then places the complex of interdiscourse within a framework taken from the sociology of knowledge, analyzing the connection between, on the one hand, the "horizontal" dimension of division of knowledge (specialization and reintegration of knowledge), and, on the other hand, the "vertical" dimension of division of power. Here is where Foucault´s concept of dispositive (from his "genealogy") likewise comes in. Hence, interdiscourse can be regarded as an operational version of "culture". It is by interdiscourse that knowledge is subjectivized both individually and collectively, and it is by the confrontation of discursive stances that knowledge is connected with power. Finally, the interdiscursive net of "normalism", in its function of both instrument of analysis and of management within the topical crisis, serves as an illustrative example where the confrontation of two discursive stances (protonormalism and flexible normalism ) can be seen at work.
