Reflecting on Learning

141 question cards for the classroom

Encouraging schoolchildren to reflect on their own learning (to self-monitor) is part of a competence-oriented teaching style appropriate for the times we live in. How can teachers support and motivate the personal reflection of their students?

• Impetus for independent learning
• A first card set for reflecting on learning in the classroom
• Ideal for working with learning journals

This set of 141 questions provides an impetus for personal reflection and can be applied directly to the classroom. The principle behind the approach is clear and logical: on the front of every card is a color-coded learning topic. On the back there is a specific question related to the learning category. Students choose a card with a question that they answer at the end of a learning unit.
