The new cardboard picture book series about Carli and Spot the cat encourages small children to conquer the world in their own way. Carli, an inquisitive child, and Spot, the super relaxed tomcat, are a lovably chaotic team. The short, funny stories from everyday family life take young children seriously and accompany them on their developmental journey in a completely open and trusting manner. Carli and Spot want to bake a birthday cake for Carli's mom. Sure, they can do that all by themselves. The result is a very special cat cake! %u201cAnd it tastes pretty good,%u201d says Spot. Carli and Spot are at the playground, but the slide is always occupied, and it's all a bit too wild. After graduating, she moved to Cologne to work in animation. She lives with her family and her dog on a farm near Cologne. Her everyday life with two small children gives her plenty of inspiration for humorous little comics that take a sober yet humorous look at family life. Carli and Spot is her debut as an author.20
